To implement a multidisciplinary product in the most correct way, the system designer should have a wide technological view and good multi-disciplinary understanding, orientation, and communication abilities.

He (or she) should be familiar with specific industry types, other similar products in the area, as well as applicable standards.​

A broad technological background and multidisciplinary understanding are important
qualities that are required to manage a project that involves different professionals, and to
conduct an effective dialogue with them.
